Follow along as the site is being built. I will make this pretty later.
| 11/03/2009 | Added new product history feeds to website. Now you can view past products along with sizes offered, time and quantity offered, amount of time listed, and the amount of time it took an item to sell out if it did. History feeds are available for all sites put together, each individual ODAT site and only dollar items. |
| 10/30/2009 | Dollar alerts are fully functional. Delivery times vary by service provider, but I am pumping out the SMS alerts first, then followed by email. Average alert time to my AT&T phone is around 4 seconds from dispatch. While this is fast, it hasn't been fast enough to snag a $1 deal on SAC. I have had success on Whiskey Militia, though. Either way, all alerts go out within two seconds of an item listing, so it will at least allow you to snag that ideal size before it gets sold out for all items in general. |
| 10/08/2009 | SAC Alerts receives 1500+ hits, the most since inception. In order to keep deal tracking current and alerts being sent on time, two servers are now undertaking the workload, and we're ready for more...bring it! |
| 9/26/2009 | Deal tracker now displays time and quantity remaining live. I know you just pooped your pants. |
| 9/08/2009 | Added a link to SAC Alert emails that allows you to opt-out of future alerts for a particular item, this way you will not continue to receive alerts for the same item over and over. Also added the option to buy items from BackcountryOutlet.com at a discount if it is not being re-listed on steepandcheap.com. |
| 8/19/2009 | Added related gear from backcountryoutlet.com in case you can't wait for your deal to show up on SAC. |
